What this site measures, and how to turn it off.
This page is not observed. Neither is anything else, if you tell it not to be.
01what is measured
While you read the main page, your browser measures: how long your pointer rests before decisions, scroll direction changes, clicks on things that aren't interactive, how long each section holds you, and how you behave in one deliberately broken form. On a phone: scroll, taps that miss, and pinch-zoom.
Each measurement is a number with a timestamp. 2.1s dwell, pricing. That is the entire record.
02what is never measured
Anything you type — the broken form discards your input on every keystroke and keeps only timing. Who you are. Where you came from. No cookies. No fingerprinting. No third-party analytics inside the observation layer.
03where it goes
Nowhere. It stays in this browser tab's memory and dies with it. Two exceptions, both yours to trigger: copying a report link stores that report (the findings text only, for 90 days), and submitting the contact form sends what the form shows you it is sending.
Two aggregate numbers do leave every browser: an anonymous session count (a random token, so you aren't counted twice) and standard performance vitals (how fast the page loaded). Neither can be connected to your behaviour.
04how to turn it off
Click observing in the corner, then stop and erase. Collection stops and the buffer empties immediately. It cannot be turned back on this session.
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, observation never starts. You would have seen off in the corner already.
05why it exists
The site's argument is that measurement beats opinion. Claiming that in prose would be decoration. Demonstrating it on the person reading is the product. The report you receive is built from the numbers above and nothing else — where the evidence is thin, it says so.
